Last Updated: September 17, 2026

Welcome to Waypoint One Foundation (“Waypoint One,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing or using the Waypoint One website, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the website.

1. About Waypoint One

Waypoint One is an organization focused on building brotherhood, connection, purpose, community, and supportive relationships among men.

Our programs may include community gatherings, outdoor experiences, mentorship, peer connection, educational activities, service opportunities, and other activities consistent with our organizational mission.

2. Adults Only

Waypoint One's programs and participant services are intended for individuals 18 years of age and older.

By submitting a request to participate in a Waypoint One program, you represent that you are at least 18 years old.

3. Not Medical or Mental-Health Treatment

Waypoint One provides peer connection and community support, not medical care, psychotherapy, professional counseling, diagnosis, or mental-health treatment.

Waypoint One volunteers and participants should not represent themselves as providing professional medical or mental-health services on behalf of Waypoint One unless appropriately licensed and specifically authorized by the organization.

Participation in Waypoint One programs does not create a doctor-patient, therapist-client, attorney-client, or other professional relationship.

4. Crisis and Emergency Situations

Waypoint One is not an emergency-response or crisis-intervention organization.

If you are experiencing an immediate emergency, call 911.

If you are experiencing a mental-health or suicide-related crisis in the United States, call or text 988.

Waypoint One may encourage or assist a participant in connecting with appropriate professional or emergency resources when circumstances warrant.

5. Participant Conduct

We expect everyone involved with Waypoint One to treat others with dignity and respect.

Participants, volunteers, and guests may not:

  • Harass, threaten, intimidate, or abuse another person

  • Engage in discrimination or hateful conduct

  • Engage in sexual harassment or unwanted sexual conduct

  • Threaten violence

  • Bring unauthorized weapons or dangerous items to an activity

  • Intentionally damage property

  • Participate while dangerously impaired by alcohol or drugs

  • Engage in illegal activity

  • Endanger themselves or others

  • Misrepresent themselves as a Waypoint One employee, officer, or representative

  • Use Waypoint One programs to solicit or exploit other participants

Waypoint One may remove or restrict a person's participation when necessary to protect the safety or well-being of participants, volunteers, or the organization.

6. Outdoor and Recreational Activities

Waypoint One may organize or facilitate outdoor and recreational activities, including:

  • Hiking

  • Camping

  • Fishing

  • Boating

  • Outdoor gatherings

  • Campfires

  • Other recreational activities

Outdoor activities involve inherent risks, including injury, illness, weather conditions, environmental hazards, water-related risks, transportation risks, and other unforeseen circumstances.

Participation in activities may require a separate Participant Waiver and Release.

These Terms of Use do not replace any activity-specific waiver or release.

7. Participant Responsibility

Participants are responsible for providing accurate information, following reasonable safety instructions, and making responsible decisions regarding their own participation.

Waypoint One may restrict participation when it reasonably believes an activity presents an unacceptable safety risk.

8. Volunteer and Peer Connections

Some Waypoint One programs may allow participants to communicate with trained volunteers or other participants.

These interactions are intended to provide companionship, listening, encouragement, and connection.

Volunteers are not acting as therapists, physicians, or other licensed mental-health professionals merely by participating as Waypoint One volunteers.

Participants should not rely on Waypoint One volunteers for professional medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice.

9. Confidentiality

Waypoint One encourages participants and volunteers to respect the privacy of others.

However, Waypoint One cannot guarantee that information voluntarily shared during informal conversations will remain confidential in every circumstance.

Waypoint One may take appropriate action when disclosure is necessary to address safety concerns, comply with law, protect individuals, or protect the organization.

Additional confidentiality rules may apply to specific programs.

12. User-Submitted Content

If you voluntarily submit written material, photographs, videos, testimonials, or other content to Waypoint One, you retain ownership of your content unless otherwise agreed.

By submitting content, you grant Waypoint One permission to use it for organizational purposes only when you have provided appropriate permission or authorization.

Separate photo/video releases may be used for activities and events.

13. Third-Party Services and Links

Waypoint One may use or link to third-party services, including scheduling, video conferencing, payment processing, social media, fundraising, or other services.

Waypoint One does not control third-party services and is not responsible for their content, availability, privacy practices, or terms.

14. Donations

Information concerning donations, including whether a contribution is tax-deductible, will depend on Waypoint One's legal and tax status at the time of the contribution.

Until Waypoint One has received appropriate tax-exempt recognition and legal guidance, no statement on this website should be interpreted as guaranteeing that a donation is tax-deductible.

15. No Guarantee of Participation

Submitting a form, contacting Waypoint One, or requesting participation does not guarantee acceptance into a program.

Waypoint One may limit participation based on capacity, eligibility, safety, program requirements, or other legitimate organizational considerations.

16. Changes to Programs

Waypoint One may modify, postpone, cancel, or discontinue activities when necessary because of weather, safety, funding, scheduling, availability, or other circumstances.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use as our organization, programs, and legal requirements evolve.

Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date.
